Getting started

Before you apply, make sure you:

• Are a UK taxpayer aged 18 years or over
• Have your UK bank or building society current account details. Please note that you cannot nominate an account held with electronic money institutions or payment institutions (e.g. Prepay Technologies, Loot, Pocket, Revolut, Tide, TransferWise & other e-money services)
• Have an email address that isn't shared with anyone else
• Are happy for us to check your identity, address and bank details electronically (online)
• Have your National Insurance number available

Things you need to know:

• Pay in up to £20,000 total each tax year across all ISAs you hold to earn tax free interest. Transfer in ISA savings up to 14 days from the account opening date, with a maximum account balance of £1m. The tax treatment may be subject to change in the future and depends on your individual circumstances.
• Once your account is open, you will be asked to fund your account. Please note, your first deposit must be for a minimum of £1000.00. The maximum account balance allowed (excluding interest) is £1000000.00. Any payments above or below these thresholds will be returned. Please be aware, we may require additional information in relation to the source of any funds deposited. If a request for additional information is made, it's important you respond within the requested timeframe.
• Some ISA products do not allow part of an ISA holding to be transferred, please check with your existing ISA provider if you are unsure about your accounts terms & conditions.
• Transferring existing ISA holdings may incur an interest charge or deduction, please check with your current ISA provider.
